Like many businesses in Connecticut, CSA members have taken advantage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). They have received the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds to keep employees working.
While employers are grateful for the assistance, confusion abounds regarding the forgiveness guidelines. To address the uncertainty, President Trump recently signed a bill that extends the forgiveness timeframe and revises the policies.
